American lit degree, computerish job for now. Lots of walking, lots of photo-ing with my trusty old Russian rangefinders, painting and drawing a little again. And buying vinyl. I can't help it. Having everything at the tips of my fingers in iTunes for the last five years had slowly made me miss the ritual side of music. Getting it back with stacks of wax.
Working my way through an MS in Software Engineering, while I'm at it. I'm fascinated by the intersections of systems, whether its where societal trends collide with free-market theory or how a complex application architecture can best support changing user needs. For right now I'm working on the latter. Also, I'm married to a lady who's far nicer to me than I deserve, with all the time I spend ignoring her and playing with all this other stuff.
